Simple directions from Bennington to Mike's

• From the center of Bennington, take Vermont route 9 east.
• In Searsburg, near the start of a long downhill, turn right onto Vermont route 8 south.
• In Heartwellville route 8 meets route 100. Turn left onto route 100 north (although you'll actually be going south still).
• Route 100 passes through Readsboro and then the Village of Whitingham (which is easy to miss if you don't see the store and Post Office).
• As the road rises up from the village, you'll see the dam for Lake Sadawga on the right and shortly after this you turn right onto Sadawga Lake Road.
• Follow the road as it bends left then turns right around the lake.
• At the end of Sadawga Lake Road, it Tees into Kentfield Road, turn left.
• At the end of Kentfield Road, less than a quarter mile, turn right onto Burrington Hill Road, the street signs here are not as visible, although someone has tacked a sign for Burrington Hill Road to a tree.
• Almost immediately (maybe 100 feet), Burrington Hill Road curves to the left, but you should continue straight (or slightly right) onto the dirt road, this is Streeter Hill Road. The street sign for Streeter Hill Road is not visible as you approach it, as it will be edge on to you. But you can see it on your left as you enter the road, or behind you if you go past it (the latter is how I found it the first time :-).
• My house is number 517, it's the first driveway on the left, about half a mile from the start of the road. There is a mailbox with the number 517 on it on the right just before my driveway, when you see that my house is on the left and you are about to pass my driveway, which isn't very visible before you reach it. There is a sign on a tree on the far side of the driveway with the number (517) and name (Patton) on it.
